RESTORATIVE YOGAAAAAHHH!
Stress can make you sick! The antidote is relaxation ~ deep & restful relaxation. Restorative Yoga can provide the deeply restful experience you need!
Restorative Yoga is an extremely gentle form of yoga. Restorative Yoga helps to relieve chronic stress by using the support of bolsters, pillows and blankets and provides a completely safe and supportive environment for passively stretching the muscles, stimulating and soothing the organs and glands, opening the lungs, and gently moving the spine in all directions.
Restorative Yoga assists with healing, nurturing, and renewing the body, mind & heart. There are no standing poses so all of our work will be done on the floor relaxing over bolsters & folded blankets and alternately laying on our backs, bellies & sides. One inverted pose with our legs up the wall will assist in returning blood & lymph fluid to the upper body & strengthening the heart. Restorative poses are an excellent antidote to our hectic lifestyles and is especially beneficial when a more gentle practice is desired! The session will end with a deep, healing guided relaxation. Come relax…rejuvenate…revitalize…renew…enjoy some hot tea afterwards!

PRIVATE YOGA OR MEDITATION INSTRUCTION
THERAPEUTIC YOGA
Private and semi-private sessions are available. Contact Kim for more information and pricing.
Private & Semi Private Yoga or Meditation Instruction ~ Learn postures & modifications, gain familiarity & comfort with basic poses, design a daily routine, fine tune your alignment, learn breathing, relaxation & meditation techniques for greater well-being. Enjoy the session alone or with a small group of people of your choosing - a spouse, partner, parent, child, friends, co-workers, employees or staff. Offer a unique icebreaker for a meeting or seminar, kick off a stress management or wellness program or begin a retreat. Arrange for a class with a therapeutic or special theme.
Therapeutic Yoga ~ A more specialized approach to yogic healing for needs that may not be addressed as thoroughly in a class setting for example, working with physical limitations, adapting for a specific injury or illness, alleviating conditions such as high blood pressure, anxiety, breathing or sleep disorders, headaches, depression, hormonal imbalances, stress-related conditions, etc. or use the session to discover, balance & integrate the energetic, mental, emotional, spiritual & witness aspects of your being to attain a greater sense of overall health!
Sessions are usually between 60 & 90 minutes in length. If you have not practiced yoga before or if your experience is limited, I would recommend a minimum of 4 sessions minimum so you can really get the feel for it (especially if we are developing a routine for you), know that you are proceeding in a way that is healthy for you, get feedback & have questions or concerns addressed.
